Stephanie Chan brings nearly 20 years of brand building and growth leadership. She co-founded a DTC start-up, led marketing at multiple high growth technology companies and owned P&Ls at beloved brands like InStyle. She specializes in developing new revenue streams in subscriptions, SaaS, e-commerce, marketplaces, and memberships. She is a passionate advocate for the consumer experience and is sought after for her unique expertise in B2C, B2B2C and B2B businesses.
She advises both for-profit and non-profit organizations on new growth strategies and effective brand storytelling, utilizing best practices developed from her diverse marketing experience. Previously, Stephanie was Senior Vice President of Marketing at VTS where she managed a team of 25, launched a new marketplace and an experiential marketing offering. Prior to that she developed programs for Fortune 500 retailers and DTC brands with Ordergroove’s subscription and AI reordering technology.
She spent 9 years at Time Inc. where she owned the consumer P&Ls for the fashion and beauty brands and drove InStyle to number one market share and negotiated revenue partnership deals with Ulta, JC Penney and QVC.
After Time Inc., she co-founded a start-up, Please and Carrots, a subscription box of toys and content curated by early childhood experts. Please and Carrots was accepted into NYC tech accelerator program, ERA, and was a recommended gift in the American Express Platinum and Centurion card programs.
Stephanie earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
